The Weeping Willow’s Crying

The Weeping Willows crying,
But standing tall and mighty
One by one his luscious leaves
Fall gracefully down his body,
The Oaks and Maples, Cedars and Rowan
Look up at him sorrowfully
Feeling his tears upon their skin
Every time the wind howls.
The Weeping Willows crying
His cries racking his body
The little beings who walk below
Will never know his sorrow
His branches sway back and forth
Fighting the winds power
Though in the end his fighting spirit
Is killed by the wind's power.
The Weeping Willows crying
His body sliced from the bottom
He falls to the ground
His body lays down
On the Earth that he's grown up on.
The Weeping Willow’s Crying.
