The Willingness to Try

Backward authors cite their facts,
from the mildew stricken walls of a mausoleum

Discount offers plus the tax,
red white and blue ask, oh say can you see 'em?

Ain't it just like the day to start,
While we're all still dancing in out dreams

Platonic pliers pry apart,
the fabric mind of what our lives could mean

Dogs in turn are double dared,
to face their owners daring them to die

While truth ignites a solar flare,
and cancels out the willingness to try...
