The Winged Man

The Winged Man
By Pat Bentley

Some were spared, others were lost,
No one knew there would be such cost.
The winds blew from the west,
We all hoped for the best.
The wind stopped as fast as it came,
Lives in the south forever changed.
Story around amazing and true,
Decisions were made that saved a few.
A little boy prayed only four years of age,
a winged man came down and answered his page.
Into the cooler his instructions were spoken,
The winged man was gone when he awoken.
People question if God even cares,
A little boy saved with an answer to prayer.
