The Woman

She stared at me from across the room.
My heartbeat quickened, this was my doom.
An eternity bound to this elegant creature,
who stole my heart with her pleasure features.
I knew at once she was the one,
the way she looked at me, I was all but done.
So I took a vow upon this day,
that everything I did and say,
would be to win this woman's heart.
And that once entwined
we'd never part.
