The wondering

By T R B

I wandered as a lonely child
no one wanting me cause I was too wild
Angry, crying, and yet confused
I too am deeply bruised

I wandered as a lonely child
never trusting never smiled
i am not too mild
I'm just me
so let me be
out where I am wild and free

I wandered as a lonely girl
who loves to spin and whirl and twirl
who loves to read and write and draw
but ocassionally breaks the law

I wandered as a lonely girl
pretty as a pearl
Sometimes i wish i were not so
sometimes i feel real low
even though
I have all the friends the world'll ever want

It is about a girl who feels real low because the only friends she has are the voices in her head.
