The Wonderland of Oz

Over the hills and far away
There was a lady I once knew
Where castles made of sand were homes
To ladies dressed in blue

They followed a yellow rabbit
who went down the white brick road
not knowing where they want to go
Into the great unknown

They gazed a gaze of wonder
watching the endless skies
when one girl said to the other
You've got the moon in your eyes

A land of wonder was all they knew
where the stars shown bright all day
The wind cried mary a sweet sweet song
They danced the night away

Two lost girls told fairytales
while Butterflies trailed behind them
Alice was forever grateful to meet Lucy In the sky with diamonds

This Poems Story

Its A fairytale tribute I wrote today for A good frinds birthday! Im Alice and shes dorothy. The Wonderland of Oz is a upside down and inside out mix between Wonderland and Oz. Using classic Song lyrics in new and fun ways as references for a true sisterly connection.
