The yellow Bag

I saw a yellow bag
Very much like the one you used to drag,
And remind me of you it did
Filling me with memories I could never rid.
The ocean of time is filled with an ocean of tears,
An ocean of smiles and an ocean of fears.
I had seen it all with you,
So I thought but that isn't true.
Mistakes make people, they say.
I went along making my way
But never thought of my greatest one;
That was when I made you my own.
The beginning of the end began
When insidious doubt through my soul ran.
Things were seen the other way by me.
You weren't the best, you weren't like me.
I saw a yellow bag.
Of all the things that aren't meant to be!
My face fell, devoid of glee.
If you were there, you could see,
The boundless ocean crashing down on me.
As long as the bag's in view,
I can't remember to forget you.
