The Youth Chaperone

The fear of falling has restrained me,
From the distant glory I seek.
A pour on the coal would keep me going.
The way my tutor rekindles my knowing.

Each time there was incertitude.
It guided me towards a gleam of knowledge,
For, there could be no better acknowledgement.
And it always sufficed.

In the darkest of nights and most hopeless of days,
I found my shining light,
To guide me through this journey of uncertainty,
And provide me with hope when there was none I could find.
