Theme Park Crazy!

We were driving along,
my family as happy as could be.
I personally wasn't excited about today.

We were going to Disney World!
There was a mountain of rides
as far as the eye could see.

The thrilling fun to
wait in a 30-minute line
for a 30-second adventure!

The crazy kids were going around,
hyped up on sugar from cotton candy,
as they ran around to go on the next ride.

The place smelled of sweat and puke.
The pungent odor surrounded me
like a smelly blanket wrapped around too tight!

I felt sick to my stomach.
My ears were ringing like
a school bell had gone off in my head.

The dreadful day had
finally come to an end.
No more theme parks!
