Except in romance songs.
She never finds her love,
she never feels his touch.
She always dreams of romance,
But never feels it's warmth.
The stories, songs and movies,
Always believe in happy endings.
Her happy ending never comes.
Cinderella, Snow white, and Belle,
Always find their prince,
but yet her prince never comes.
Locked in the tower forever,
waiting to be rescued,
her prince never comes.
Doomed forever and locked away,
Waiting for her happy ending.
The happy ending that never comes.
