There She Goes
There she goes a walkin’ out the door
She said she don’t love me anymore
Someday I think it’s finally going to hit her
You can’t live your life being bitter
There she goes a lookin’ for what she’s missed
She still believes she wasn’t blessed
Somedays she thinks she sees it up yonder
Happiness is always just beyond her
There she goes a travelin’ on her own
Sees some of her kids when she isn’t alone
“This is better than staying with him”
Just another lie to keep her lookin’ over the rim
There she goes I’m afraid until our end
Chasing dreams, hoping her heart will mend
If I thought it was true she could find it out there
I would want her to find it, no matter where
There she goes leaving US in the dust
She is off going her direction and I’m just
Picking up the pieces and standing here thinking
“How did we become me....and you missing?”
