These Eight Years

This eight-year roller coaster ride
Has opened my heart and mind, wide
I've learned so much since I met you
So much about life, love, you and me, too
Some things I don't care for at all
Others that made me feel ten feet tall
Like the fact you truly do love me
But some past actions make me wonder how this can be
Yet continually, you show me your true love's heart
Just as you have done from the start
No one has ever made me feel so many things in my life
And relieved my pain and lessened my strife
Would I trade these last eight years for anything, if I could?
My answer's no-I never, ever would!
