Poet name

They don't care

She took the knife, pressed it deep within her skin
Felt the blood boil over, felt it deep within
They tried to stop her, it didn’t matter then
She couldn’t help it, she cut deeper in
Let herself fall apart, all because of him

He took the laughter, plus the shame.
Took it all in her name.
Never knew he’d lose her
Never knew he’d hurt her.
Wanted her to live to the fullest, taking her pride.
But he failed, all because she died.

She fell again, blood gone cold
She couldn’t take him growing old
She saw it all from the depths of hell
Felt the hate as she yelled.
