They Say I Am

They say I am,

A wind for hope,
Blowing through a torn land,
Where haunting cries cant't blow away,
But lie beneath the rubble and decay.

They say I am,

The hands that hold,
The tiny ones you left for dead,
When your bombs fell from the skies,
Amidst their mothers cries.

They say I am,

The only truth,
Written here for you to see,
But, in your need for greed,
You've turned away,
From all my words I've given thee.

They say I am,

Eternal peace, to all who come to me..
But, with you this can never be.
In this perfect realm here with me.
