THINGS OF THE PAST

Thing of the past.
No trace of yesterday
No trace of three years we’ve spent together
Three years you’ve spent between my legs
No traces of “I love you “s”
Everything became a faint whisper
No trace of yesterday no trace of us
But in my heart, there’s something there
Feelings that I have yet to let out
And I want you gone
Out of my mind, my heart
I want no trace of today, no trace of yesterday
No trace of you
If I can only light a match to the memories and burn every last memory, though and I love you out my mind
If it was so easy to get rid of
Now everything is just a thing of the past.
That’s it the past.
