Thinking of You

When I think of you my throat tightens.
My eye begin to water and spill down my cheeks.
When I knew you had died I was too stunned to cry.
Now I cannot help from letting salty tears fall.
Last I saw you smiling, you did not remember who I was.
When you layed resting, I could not say my goodbyes.
Thinking of you now my thoughts linger to you pale and gone.
I picture this in my mind,
You smiling as we would sing, and talk.
My heart breaks knowing I can not see you.
Even though knowing, I will see you again.
One day, at some time, I will be with you.
Until that time comes I will forever be thinking of you.
