This Day

Focus on this day,
For life is made up of days like this.
In these fleeting twenty-four hours,
Will be found the meaning of our life.

The joy of love, the pleasure of doing,
The awe of change, the thrill of adventure.

For yesterday is a vanishing vapor,
And tomorrow a hazy dream,
Still unpromised, still unfulfilled, and still unknown,
Full of fears, excitements and opportunities.

But only this day is guaranteed,
So live this day well,
And turn your yesterdays into pleasant reminders,
Of contented memories that can't be changed,

Again, focus on this day,
And turn tomorrow into a hopeful opportunity,
Full of unlimited possibilities,
For achievement, triumph and bliss.

So live, laugh, love and enjoy this day,
For this day will never come again.
