This, I Am
This, right now, is who I am.
After make up. Or before.
Right now. Upon noticing new wrinkle.
After sweaty run up Pike Street.
This, fighting the guilt that creeps in
when I've lingered too long over such and such.
This, right now, is who I am,
even when I doubt myself.
When I feel so joyful I cry.
So angry, I could spit.
This, at this moment, I
realize, is who I am.
In body, mind, spirit, heart,
right now, loving who I am.
