This Is My Country

I live in a country
Where I was born free,
And can live my life
In the way that I please.

I live in a country
Whose price was paid in blood,
And am not afraid
To join the ranks if I must.

I live in a country
Whose red, white, and blue
Inspire me to live up
To all that I can do.

I live in America--
For that I am proud.
And I am not the least ashamed
To say it to every crowd.

I live in America,
The greatest country on Earth.
And I will stay by freedom's side
'Till I am long gone and they bury me in the dirt.
