This Is Where I Am

This is where I am.
I’ve been here before.
I’m losing sleep
I’m losing sanity.
Reality is becoming irrelevant
Because reality is only a perception
I am only as alive as I believe I am
And sadly,
I believe I am hardly living
How can I live with these voices?
They deny me sleep, peace, lucidity
I fear I am in little control of my mind
What I fear more,
That I prefer insanity
I would rather be insane
Than be another drone in this world
But I am tired,
I have gone sleepless many nights
And when sleep evades you
Eternal rest is quite seducing
I’ve been awake too long
Gravity, do not fail me
It’s time to rest..
