This life can never be mine.

My heart pumps blood without my consent
Even my stomach growls at it's own peril
Every being in my being is not my fault
Witnessing every part of me like
I'm glued to a screen
I can't even teach my lungs how to breathe
So I let me be me
Trying to take control is more like comedy
But I promise to take complete responsibility
For whatever occurs
Perhaps then this life will be mine.
