This World

This world is dying
Why can't people see
Being torn apart it's bleeding
Why can't people be
More aware of what's happening
To much ignorance finds
Them saying always be capturing
Those memorable times
So they are stuck in their
Own bubble of memorie
Remembering things as they were
Saying "oh look it's coming back to me"
But those times are no longer here
And yet they can't grasp
That fact because they all fear
The smallest tiny bit of change
Because it threatens their way
Of life. They still can't accept it
Even if this world is falling apart every day
Ever so slightly bit by bit
We humans are destroying each other
For the stupid reason so small
Yet can turn a man on his own brother
The fear of change like a wrecking ball
Is tearing this world to shreds.
