Thought of Fate

I feel an oncoming collision
with my conscious prison.

My free thought is convicted.
My dark thought causes mischief.

I watched what she'd say,
& listen with my eyes.

I shouldn't of been surprised
that the grandest prize is a lie.

What lies above heavens sky?

Not seeing an angel cry...
Not seeing the reaper lie while
he reaps the rewards of my time.

Leap of faith was my mistake.
Madame Fate looked my way.
I collapse in lies that she'd make.
Her smile disguised my fate.

My captivation held me captive.
