Some come slow, creeping like shadows.
Any time, during the day or night.
They invade your vast, spacious mind.
It's getting dark; put them down.

Others are cheerful,
Everywhere a new bloom.
You sing to a child a song,
The child smiles with the throng.

You dance with love-what glee I see.
Why do you stare at me? Energy!
Your energy can be absorbed cosmically.
Goodbye dreamlands, nightmares alike.

Let us have a very piercing eye to see the good in mankind.
No more vile, grieving functions; kiss them goodbye.
Do you understand now? You are never left alone.
There is always someone who needs your smile, your heart.
