Through Her Spectacles

Through Her Spectacles
Things looked hazy,
Was it due to my
Lack of experience,
or my ‘improper vision’?
When I peeped through
My mother’s spectacles;
I felt sweeping in the
Flood of emotions,
Was it due to my lack of strength,
Or my willingness to learn?
When I peeped through
My mother’s spectacles;
Next I saw my future,
Things hazy turned clear,
Sweeping emotions streamlined,
When I peeped through
My mother’s spectacles;
Learnt the lesson essential
Bestowed with the sensitivity required,
I am happy that I peeped through
my mother’s spectacles.
