Through It All, You Stand Tall

I understand that your life has been a calamity,
But let me just tell you, you have handled it with great dignity.
You have forced yourself to keep a positive prerogative,
You never, ever dwell on the negative.
You have always kept a smile on your face,
No matter what the disgrace,
In hopes that tomorrow
Would take away your sorrow.
It is not the problems that you face that astound me,
It is how you tackle them that I envy.
You have decided to do what you think is right,
And going to college is in your sight.
You are aware that there might be some collision,
But you can see past that with your twenty-twenty vision.
You have hopes of becoming an engineer,
And that goal is one thing that you hold dear.
I know that your life has been hard to regulate,
But organization has always been your best trait.
I am proud of all that you do,
And kid, my kudos go to you.
