thy wild beauty

Thy stunning colours
That sway in zephyr
Dost thou hath to change
Or wilt thou defy?

Thou sparkle like ne'er ere
When thou art in open air
I prithee thee, stay the same
And ne'er dost thou ever change

'Tis beauty that I talk about
That I dost nay see very oft
Hence I shall verily ne'er move
Till thither is nay left to see

Oh! Do ask thyself, wherefore
'Tis thou that I only love?
Thou shall find no answer than
The sun drowning in the west
