Tick-tock

An incessant flow
I wish I did not know.
Imprisonment of life
Causing much unnecessary strife.

Let day be day and night be night,
One clearly dark and the other light.
When I want to join, I'll come
Leaving when I please, where I am coming from.

A ticking circle or computerized number
Signifying when my body should be ready for slumber?
I find the idea annoyingly intrusive its crazy,
Leave it to me if I am ready to be productive or choose to be lazy.
My understanding is lacking when it comes to the man creating time,
A matter of control, my life no longer mine.

You've caused anxiety and despair,
Car accidnets, fights, problems and fear.
I tend to be the non-obligatory type,
Therefore time being to me nothing short of hype.
