I used to always wear a watch,
When time was important to me.
When I had a life and things to look forward too.
So I knew when to stop or go.
That’s when I used to have a life, friends and plans.
But now with nothing to look forward to,
nothing to do, no one to see.
My use for a watch has now become useless to me.
I no longer always need it on me.
What difference does the time make,
When no matter the time I will be doing the same thing,
The same thing I am now always doing
Being lonely, hopeless and lifeless.
And it will never change.
Now I find myself not needing to know the time,
What’s the point.
I now never wear a watch.
