Time

Time walked by,
On a bench that I sat.
Thinking of what I've done in my life,
Not really much anything that I like.
I live a lie most of the time,
For I don't really understand, who am I?
My life I wish to reset,
Because I don't think I'm ready yet.
I stand up to look for Time,
Who had just walked by.
He's nowhere to be seen,
But I just saw him so where could he be?
I just want another chance at life,
For I don't understand.
I've been a boy for too long,
And not ready to be a man.
So I go back to the bench,
And take a seat.
All over in my head,
I begin to repeat.
Thinking to myself,
Of all that I've done.
And start to realize,
The life I've chosen is not at all fun.
