Time Passes

How they ponder about their life's journey.
Taking to heart the lies and defeat.
Once innocent children, turned to the darkness.
Wishing for new lives.
Fallen angels, they are turning to dust.
Begging to cherish life, while they can.
Woken from fear, they try to escape from their own domain.
Twisting and turning.
Yawning and yearning.
The final day becomes them.
Holding on to spirit and love.
Passing soundly like a whisper.
The path shall start anew.
