Titanic

By Harper

Lost in the open sea
As if it felt like
I had one last breath to breathe
The swaying and shaking of the boat itself
As I place my belongings on the shelf

I brace myself for what is about to happen
As sadness rushes over the panic
As i watch the titanic sink into the atlantic
The coldness in the air
While the rooms went bare

the music in the background
With families all around
Children and women board the boats
And men jump off in hope to float

That evil iceberg that caused my people lives lost
the deck is covered in frost
Life boats stranded
And others were abandoned
In the titanic
Lost in the open sea
