Title Wave

My end is my beginning and my beginning is my end
I can be an enemy or I can be a friend
In dreams, I can take you to exotic places
Of soft, satin pillow and smooth, silken laces
From all of life's quandaries you can drift away
Where your only obligation is sun every day
Or I take you where your nightmares haunt you
Where you can't run away from that which taunts you
I can lap upon the shore with a quiet lullaby
Inconsequential to those who walk nigh
Or unleash my wrath and let go my rage
Unlocking the door of my fury's cage
Sometimes a gentle storm or sometimes a tsunami
From some I am feared, and from others paid homage
I can wear on my head a cap of white
Or I can be completely out of sight
Until unto the winds once again I must heed
Beckoning my return to their want and need
Whether in the shallow or in the deep
I am the waters forever to keep
I know not where wind and water next will take me
Be it a ruffled river or a storming sea
I have no title, but many a name
My beginning and ending are one in the same
