To an Angel

To an Angel:
The event is instituted in my mind, in my room about 4:00 in the morning.
Dead silence in the small little apartment,
All of sudden there is a light, it is your daughter, she tells me the most somber news
You are died, you praised him, before you went to take up the ultimate flight,
Before he called you home, you danced in his presence,
You gave Truth a brief sneak peek before you fought the thief and you won.
You won, you are home, My grandma the angel,
My guardian angel that encamps about me, walking side by side with Savior.
I miss you I miss your smile that light up a room and your warm comfy lap,
I lean up to kiss your cheek, I wish to see you in that majestic dark blue sweater.
Your with our father know, alive in the land of the living.
