To Be

She ate a mango at midnight
then went dancing in her sleep

She woke with starry eyes
and fell, down from up her keep
She walked through forest
to the place dreams go to lie.
She came back hours later,
imagination more alive;
she longed to search for curiosity,
but she was chained to other things.

Wandered with mysteries many
all her secrets, she knew not any

She ate a mango at midnight
and did what wasn't placed
she carved her own way round it
she was brave for what she faced

Now people told her no
but they said no so much

one thing the people didn't have

a spirit they could touch.
