To Be a Parent

To Be a Parent
Infants turn into adults right before your eyes
In the beginning, we are all lost at first
All children are different and may need different parenting styles
Don't worry you are doing fine
In a blink of an eye, we will be off to college
But we will always be your little babies
You have raised us right
Because of you
we can face the world and be alright
Thanks, mom, and dad couldn't have done any of this without you
Every time you thought you were being a bad parent
You weren't you were doing what was right
Every tear you dried, every special meal you made
Meant everything to us
We might say it enough or at all but
Thank you.
