To Be Remembered

To be remembered when I die
Will they mourn? Will they cry?
Will they love me still?

Will they tell stories for years to come?
Or will they forget me like anyone?

Will they remember my laughs and cries?
Or will they remember the wrath in my eyes?

Will I be remembered as Walt Disney,
bringing hopes and dreams to all children alike?
Or as Adolf Hitler bringing hatred and fear to innocent lives?

Nobody knows, only time will tell.
I'll dance in heaven or burn in hell.

I curse the day when I'll find out.
In my mind, I want to scream and shout.

To be remembered.
