He was listening,
And after all these years,
He chose you to take away,
You know I am always by your side,
And you are always by mine,
Now fly my angel,
Let your wings soar,

This Poems Story

"To Heaven You Go" was inspired by a man I was lucky to call my grandfather. Unfortunately, he passed away in January 2013 before having a chance to hear it. On the day he passed, I took all my emotion and wrote it down. After reading what I wrote, I transformed it into a poem about his fight for life. He will be with me forever and always.
