Will you love me?
If I smear a hideous paint across your face
To lobby poorly in my noble enterprise
Will you help me?
If I stretch patience as far as the distant wind
If I could ever want to spill your love
Throwing it as far as the distant shore
Where you will be swallowed by hate itself
Like a piteous faith in hell
Will you love me?
Lovely girl of the blessed soul
Enormous with wisdom
And endorsed in mass sacrifice
Of being the pioneer if women's liberty
Will you love me Veronica
I whose yet your man to be
I who has caused you match pain
And cannot stand among the laughing day
I'm so sorry I am to blame for
The many countless faults I incur
The greatest breach of love
Will you love me your poet
And forgive me for who I am
And call in question a better ending of lo love, Amen.
I know you will.
