To Love A Boy That’s Blonde

To love a boy that’s blonde
A light within the dark
A summer breeze in weather warm
Fares well with winter’s bark
To love a boy that’s strong
A sturdy raft to float
Across the rolling ocean waves
To beaches so remote
To love a boy that’s fair
With reason, with not rhyme
A stillness in a raging storm
That stands the test of time
To love a boy that’s kind
In spite of all the rain
A field of poppy flowers bloom
And dissipate the pain
