To My Heavenly Mother

My mother and protector,
My chainer's deflector.
My shelter you become
When I hurt, to you I come.

I prayed and you heard,
Asked for something I could not bear.
"Make me a saint,
"The Lord's face I wish to paint."

The start of a journey,
bought with no money,
But blood of your offspring;
Here comes the new spring.

The queen of the moon,
We honor you at noon,
Yahweh, bless my mother
For she gave me a brother.

Connected by the rains,
Like the sky and the grass.
His Holy blood running in my veins;
I became his kin; I was free at last.
