This bed is so empty of you,
These feelings of "lonely" are new.
The world's crashing down on my life,
But every word spoken is true.
This house stands so quiet inside,
the walls are closed in with no room to hide.
The voices echo deep in my soul,
And you have betrayed me and left a hole.
Food cooked with love tastes of dust,
Thrown away is if it were a must.
The tattered carpet where your footsteps were,
Seem healing but mocking of her.
The end came the night you told her all,
The destruction you wrought made a wall.
Try as I may you still walked away,
And I sit eating dust with so many things to say.
