To the Lovely

I know you have a chance
to be wonderful,
gravitational.
I want to water you,
feed you love and fresh soil
until you bloom- like lavenders,
like
your spirit,
reaching out of flesh pores
with wispy fingers-
saying hello,
whispering wonderful secrets
in silence
and in eyes.
When I go, send me to sea
in velvet ribbons,
tied like strings to every finger-
I don't want to forget
what I loved,
or you.
I may be back, skeletal and alone.
Maybe I'll
see you then.
