To the one who got away

Dear White Rabbit,

You will never see this poem I wrote about you.
But I have some things to say, before I go.
I will forever remember your pretty blue hair, and those coffee brown eyes.
You were the one who had the courage to talk to me first.
For our own talks at 2 AM, over the things we wished for, as for the awful things we would vent over.
I still kept them to heart.
I will never forget hearing your Irish voice for the first time,
Or your stories at scouts, and how you had your first kiss at 15.
You were still there for me through my darkest days.
I do not think I will ever forgive myself for hurting you.
You will never see this poem I wrote about you,
Because at this very moment, you have already forgotten my name.
