To Whom I Admire

Midnight waves upon the sand
rich and dreamy in thine hand.
Flowing freely slipping through,
wast it really mine to do?

So exquisite, pure and true,
I fare tis a dream to look at you.
If thine eyes could only see
the beauty that lays beneath.

Don't you recognize it's me?
The only one to truly see
what is inside and out.
If only the stars I could count.

Tis me you are looking for
the one whom you truly adore.
My admiration for you is pure,
so please don't make my heart soar.
