Together Alone

We walk alone from birth to death,
And everyone who crosses your path
Will not escape this brutal fate
Of solitude from womb to wrath.

Through shades of cities we possess-
We walk by millions of those
Who, just like us, with empty souls
Crusade through days full of distress.

Unwillingly, we mastered arts
Of self-seclusion from the rest,
And only echo in the chest
Reminds us of heavy hearts.

Enchanted with the sweetest dreams
With stubborn will-we still insist
That there's a purpose for us all,
That truth and love indeed exist...

We walk alone from birth to death,
And time is merciless to us-
You're on your own from very first
Till very last sip of your breath.
