Tommorows hope

The empty ground I call home
Broken faded gone cold
Look to my right for compassion
Yet none came but hate
Look to my left for light
Rather I was ignored and given dark
Of air engulfed with suet
With words that left behind scars
Of battles lost and those to come
Alone I stood drenched
In yesterdays tears
Yet todays sweat brought none but hope
As I stood in wait for tomorrows surprise
