Tomorrow\'s window

As i rock in my chair, no light in the room
the window doors ajar as i peer through
white cotton curtains flap from a humid breeze
turn gold as the sun seeps through with ease
warm light hanging in the evening sky
watching for tomorrow, now, slowly slips by.
