Tonight is the the night,
The night when the moon reflects upon all my flaws,
The night when I ask you for your forgiveness,
Because I can't do this alone.
It hurts so much when I hate myself,
I feel from grace and marched through hell.
I hoped that I could make up for my mistakes,
But that only led to tragedy and heartbreak.
And I admit that I let down and I let you go,
So now there's only one thing I need you to know,
That I am sincerely sorry.
Let this be my final words,
Even when you cry and it hurts.
Because all I ever did was drag you down,
I hope you see that I am so much better now.
Tonight I say I'm sorry,
I beg you to let me back into your heart,
And allow me to sleep on the furniture I tore apart,
Because you are my home.
