Too Far Gone

She was as unpredictable
as every churn
Her heart tangled in lines
But her mind; glassy and smooth
As he dove
Deeper
Deeper
Deeper
He found himself
Unable to resurface - he was predisposed to her
the storm that cyclones in her slate eyes
the guarded trident of her affection,
yet, the tender caress of her warm, foaming hand tugged
Deeper
Deeper
Deeper
he sunk but did not fear
for he craved the darkness
the serenity
the knowledge of no return
an eternity
